 Our worship services reflect the variety of our backgrounds,
drawing upon the church calendars, music and sacramental
life of Protestant and Roman Catholic traditions. MCCSF worship
services reflect these seasons of the Church Year.
We also observe other commemorances such as Kwanzaa, Martin
Luther King, Jr. Day, African & African American History
Month, Asian Pacific Islander Month, and Yom HaShoah: Commemoration
of the Holocaust.
Advent, Christmas, New Year's, Epiphany,
Ash Wednesday, Lent, Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday,
Holy Saturday,
Easter, Pentecost, Earth Day, LGBT Freedom Day, Homecoming
Sunday, Halloween, and Thanksgiving services are observed,
as appropriate, with special choral and instrumental music.
