We gather in beloved community throughout each week celebrating
our most deeply held values: the inclusive love of God, the
dignity and worth of all people, the sacredness of all bodies. We gather to affirm our beliefs: love is stronger than death,
goodness is stronger than evil, transformation is always
possible.
We gather to put these values and beliefs into action: sharing
a meal, praying, singing, lighting candles.
We gather remembering our dreams: queer people have a special
role to play in the healing of the world.
God's Love is for Everyone
"Everyone is welcome to share the bread and cup of grape
juice in memory of Jesus, and as a sign of God's love for
us and our love for each other. These are the gifts of
God for all of the people of God. You do not need to be
a member of this church, or of any church. This table is
open to everyone."
The Communion sacrament of bread, juice and a prayer of
blessing is offered at all our Sunday and holiday/special
services. We do this not only to provide God's loving nourishment
within our community, but also to affirm that this sacrament
is readily available to all.
